Troy,
I live in Cuyahoga Falls, just N of Akron, and I work in Solon. I am in the Cleveland area often as well. Maybe you'd like to get together and check some areas out? Check out the Garrett forum on this site and see the Drive In I am starting to work before it's torn down. Having someone else there might be a big help.

Hey. I live in North Olmsted. One spot to check out is Oakwood Park (on 57 about 33rd st)in Lorain. My son and I have only been there once for a few hours. We found one old token and clad. Plenty of trash. But I talked to one person who has been md since the 70's and he said he has pulled a lot of barber coins, IH, V nickels etc from that park.

There are a fair amount of people with detectors in the area so all the obvious "public" places has been hunted well. Thing is there are still good things to be found even in these "hunted out places". You just have to dig some trash, have a good detector and work hard.

I live in Avon Lake. I have only tried searching at "the cut" which is the beach in Avon Lake over by the power plant. I didn't have much luck...
