Not 100% correct to a point

What I've read from others about the DS really throttling down the machine is not 100% correct. There are so many factors to consider about the performance of a detector.
I ran it through my test garden and can say with DS enabled the machine is much quieter than before. Now I can say with assurance my deepest target, a copper rivet at 7+ inches comes in perfectly with the following settings. DS enabled, BP, sensitivity 0 "yes 0", discrimination 0. Very clean audio with the coil 3-4" above the ground. I'm pleased with the upgrade. More to follow after several different test.
Thanks to Tinfoil for the machine.

I'm with Mark. The few times I have used DS I couldn't see much loss of depth, at least from the standpoint of digging some 7" deep coins. HH jim tn

I also noticed Sensitivity at 0 really quiets the machine. Havent hunted with it like that yet. But have not very many small targets beyond 10" inches. I air test at 12 inches with the stock coil. So guess I got to walk over it.
