not a great day at the beach, but there is never is a bad day

Could not get my wife to the beach before sunrise. So we had a compromise, 9:30. On the way to the beach we found out the A.C quit working. No problem, the ace 250 worked fine and besides we can roll the windows down. When we arrived,there where 5 other people MDing. We need to quit promoting this hobby. I told my wife to put the things back in the car and drove 4 miles down the beach. Not as heavily visited but no body MDing. In wet sand I found a thin ankle bracelet. It hit on nickel. Did anyone say the 250 is not sensitive? I got a piece of jewelry for a pierced belly button. You never know what you will find on the beach there is such a variety. One time I found a 20 pence. I thought because it was 7 sided and black it was Spanish silver till I cleaned it up. Well it did hit on nickel.
It is Biketoberfest at Datona Beach. By the end of the week there will be around 200,000 bikes. Let me think. Expensive Harley's + jewelry + spending lots of money and booze = me at the beach early on the week end.

Yeah I'd rest up for that. Surprised my idiot brother-in-law ain't going. He only has 14 bikes and hits all the get togethers around the country.

It amazes me. When we go to our doctor, he is growing a beard and trying to get that "biker" look. They come with all the BIG trucks, towing BIG enclosed trailers, with BIG expensive bikes inside. Do they spend the money! Daytona Beach likes the bikers more then any other group. That is why they promoted another week, making Biketoberfest.
