Only 34 when I hit the woodlands this morning, but once the sun peaked over the trees, it got nice. About 62 for our high here in W Tn today. The big spoon is a Wallace 10/54. Nothing special. The pendant might be gold plated, but not marked as such that I can find. It does have "best of show" on it. Haven't a clue what the "show" may be. Did get 2 mini drops, which I always enjoy digging. The lighter is marked "direct D 54?" Got a few digs of clad, Memorial cents and the 3, dime a dozen on this site, "no value" tokens. Near the end of my hunt dug the 5 wheat cents, all in the same hole. They are, 29, 30, 40, 44 and 1946. Just can't seem to get my coil over a silver coin or two of late. Maybe spending to much time digging those gold coin numbers. LOL You northern guys and gals hang in there, every day brings you one day closer to spring.:) F 75 LTD with 6 1/2" coil. HH jim tn

I didn't find NOTHING today and I got cabin fever really BAD! I did order me a new detector and some new headphones to cheer me up some.:)

Thanks Jim for the post and I least your able to dig . The thing that I find tons of are the 12 guage brass from the old paper shells ,I wish I had a nickel for everyone of those I dug . The sad part is they can come in on the meters reading just about anything but gotta dig them. Can not wait to try the 5 inch coil on that colonial site. . .I am hoping that one fortunate people that has thawed ground will get lucky and find a gold coin to post on this site. Ezra.

Jim

I just got a Gamma to compare to my Omega. I'm kinda liking Teknetics/Fisher as well as my Tesoro detectors. Let me know if you hear of something new.
