i didnt get to try prospecting. my hubbys golf game lasted a record breaking 8.5 hours so we ran out of time to play in the dirt. i somehow managed out for a bit and found 60 cents in clad and a ton of trash. he found what appears to be an old shot gun shell. its all brass or copper. dont know yet. havent cleaned it. its cool though. so that was our big finds for the day. i did however got to meet a real nice couple at the park. they to detect. so i guess my day wasnt all that bad. hh all.

yes i have a new one im heading over to today. i guess the propecting thing is out of the question for now. hubby says the gas is too high to go to where i wanting to go. its about a half hour drive from here. so maybe if i save my pennies to fill the tank he will take me then..

Sorry, dobbie, that you aren't able to go prospecting as yet, but God will provide a way for you to go and do it when it's safe and the time! But let me tell you with gas ($3.87.9 here in St. Louis) as high as it is and going higher, you will need to save those nickels, dimes and quarters and find lots of them to pay for the gas you need! Pennies won't do these days!

thanx everyone...yes gas is up past 4 for reg here. it cost us 50 to fill or economy car...:sad: i did get out today. between the two of us we got about 3 bux in coins..some fake jewelry, a button, and a dog rabies tag. its a blue flower so at least its a nice one....
