Not saying this is always true with the Tek's but...

I just have to laugh when reading on other brand forums that running the sensitivity too high in trashy areas is like running 'high beams in the fog'. Well I say go ahead and crank up your Tek cuz they turn on the fog lights.

Tom

You're trying to get arrested for "sensitivity unreasonable for conditions"! You dog you!

cuz if it is I'll gladly up the ante for some 'mistreatment'

Actually I posted this after reading something over on the X-factor forum.

Can't let Barnacle have all the fun. :poke:

And at least I will not be posting any "Proprietary" information here since Mikey doesn't respond to my PM's. I think along with Carolina Clyde & Bob Sickler I'm off Mikey's Christmas Card list.:rofl:

But just to show that I'm big-hearted, I'm nominating Mikey for Metal Detecting Forums "Entertainer of the Year", as he has surely been the gift that just keeps on giving. Now see what you've gone & done Tom, Mikeys going to be all mad :rant:on me again!

And the big news here is I sent in my F70 to have it upgraded into one of those Camofied units! Yippee! Maybe when it comes back it will be an F8000 version 6.99856384 Rev.c

And you know that reminds me of a fellow I used to work with from Chicagoland that had good Mid-West sensibility like Brad & yourself. His favorite saying on any project we worked on was, "There's never enough time to do it right, but there's always enough time to do it again". :)

Thanks for inviting me to sit a spell & chat.:please:

Scoundrel.

Midwest sensibility??? If ya mean like good ole gun totin' Sarah, Yeah we be better than you East coast lot!

Hey if that 70 of yours is working good I wouldn't send it anywhere near Vegas. :poke:

And BTW the U.P. is now stocking more kinds of Beers. :beers:

Tom

I think what happens on some machines when you turn the sens too high the footprint of the coil starts to pick up more and in a trashy area you would need to turn down the sens.

that you should be more concerned that the offense doesn't wind up being a misdeweanor.

More Beers? Sounds like road trip time to me! When's ice out?:jump:

I consider my posting here a Public Service, this forum is so dead that even the Crickets are sick of listening to one another sing. Hey did you hear? The U.P. now has more than Bud & Bud Lite! I'm getting out my Bob & Doug Mckenzie records as we speak! OK where's my Curling Stones? Can't visit Tom without Curling Stones!

are just too darn slow. Throw a little lumpy ground and some iron at them and they go into withdrawal. Of course you can always put a 6" HF coil on em and pretend you are doing allright.

the real reason the views count on FAQ FAQ is high is cuz Google keeps pointing people to it that are looking for AFLAC!

That reminds me... gotta get a new pair of neoprenes and maybe something for summer. It's getting so you have to cover up completely in summer because they won't do anything about the swimmer's itch problem in the lakes.

Are you guys in Wisconsin making any progress on getting the law changed?

Swimmer's itch, must be that Global Warming, ya'll gotta stop voting for that Al Gore feller, he hasn't been on the ballot for years.
