Not seen with naked eye

Some silver & gold items have legit stamps but are either very small, worn down, or kinda hidden. The bracelet I dug this morning had a stamp but neither my wife nor I could see it with the naked eye. But it looked like silver so I got the 12 power magnifier out and there it was.

While not completely legible - anything that says "Mexico" is silver. As I posted, I tested it also with my acid kit.
I have gotten into the habit of checking almost all the jewelry that I dig with a magnifier. Don't let the goodies pass by you, Steve in so az

Congrats, Steve! I have a difficult time even seeing the markings with my glasses on and a magnifying glass...sooo check them anyway you can to be able to read or see any markings! :) God Bless! Betty
