NOT singing at church this Sunday-'cause........

Pastor told me there are no more mice in the church,so my"scaring the mice out by my singing"services are no longer needed...:help::cool:ACTUALLY:there is some special music planned for this Sunday.Pastor said to me,though:"why dont you do that for Veterans' Day on the 11th of November?"I thought NOW THERE IS A GOOD IDEA-My pastor takes care of 2 churches,I could do "LAY ME DOWN" in BOTH churches-AND:YA KNOW WHAT??The other church Pastor tends to has their church services BROADCAST ON RADIO Sunday mornings...That means I will be heard scaring the mice out-I MEAN-singin live on the air...If I can serve THE LORD in this way- Lead me to the stage, turn on the microphone;and lets get on with it!!!:angel::super:

watch the rats desert a sinking ship. For some reason that came to mind. Any who, sounds great for all with a special service going on giving you a break and also a chance to be heard over the radio waves....I picture you like in the movie O Brother Where Art Thou .... you know the scene where the guys get paid for 'singin' in a can'.

What would you do for your next big gig - be in the moving picture box maybe?

I don't think I could do that song, I break down every time I hear it!

Maybe some talent scout will hear ya and you will get a recording contract! :)
Keep on singing unto the Lord!

This might sound strange;but Id rather not have it happen...WHY??Some people strive for that for years, and never get it-I think eventually, for me-I would get tired of,as John Lennon put it;"ridin the merry go round"...I value my private family time, and it seems celebrities have to give that up to be famous...I think its pretty sad that photographers have to drive famous people to near insanity just to get a photo;autograph hounds will go to ANY length to get an autograph....In a way,I feel sorry for them-the "SEE AND BE SEEN"attitude of most of them has never appealed to me.
