Not so good today but yesterday

Mike Chgo area

I figured to heck with the muddy conditions and went to a forest preserve. I remembered one where some crew had removed some brush from a few areas last fall. After there about 15 mins got a good signal and after about 5 inches of muddy soil was dug up I spotted a little silver rim and squeezed out a 1918-S Merc in pretty good shape. After about another 40 mins or so good an iffy signal with the right numbers showing on the F75. After much playing in the soggy wet hole, at about 10 inches I got 1 1906-D Barber Quarter. That was it for the day. 2 digs and 2 silver. Hard to beat. Went back there today and did a lot of swinging and walking around but no digs for goodies. Got 1 old small bottle lid and another junk dig. The day was a beauty though and still enjoyed it. Hope all are doing well. God Bless.
