I need some head phone advice.
I'm currently usin Killer Bees and I LOVE "EM .
'cept...................the ear cups are smaller than my ears and after a spell o' swingin
the bottoms o' my ears HURT !! They are mashin on my earlobes and it hurts.
Anyone got any advice on headphones as good as the Bees with bigger ear cups ?
I have some hearin issues, allmost def in my left ear, so i gotta take that into concideration.
And leme tell ya'll right now.......NO, i'm not gittin my ears cropped

I've had Koss' before and allthough decent headphones they didn't work well with my limited hearing.
Maybe they have something better and new to offer. I'll look into 'em.

if it's warm out my ears and headphones get wet from perspiration because of the tight seal....never miss a sound but sweaty ears are annoying.

In warm weather (above 50*) I use my kid's old Walkman headphones.... Yeah, I know, that's showing my age....so what?

However. now it does'nt matter which pair I use, I only cover one ear.... between thugs & drugs or bears & cougars, I get paranoid about being hypnotized by the coil movement or the the soft hummmmm of the threshold setting and the need to pay attention to what's going on around me. Now days it's Koss & Glock ...or... Walkman & Uzi....not to mention that my digger is a lethal weapon on it's own.

As the most un-interesting person in the world I say....
"Have fun and stay thirsty for finds my friends".

but with my bad hearin' they don't work for me near as well as the B's.
Oh, and Mike, yer only "uninteresting" to people that don't matter.

If i ever git near the city, for now, it's B's and Sig Sauer.
( and Ruger in my pocket.)

Jim Shelby and I use to hunt 12 too 16 hr. a day,My ear's would hurt after two hr of hunting.I start thinking (Bad) about it and came up with a plan to stop the hurting.I cut some foam rubber (about "1" ) so my ear would fit on the inside.Then I glued it to my ear phone.

Now you can laugh at them but I can hunt 16hr. and never hurt my ear's.Shelby still laugh at them.Thats o.k.I do it also.But it work.

And i aint gonna laugh.They could also double as life presevers.
In the case of a flood, or if ye fell into the surf or the lake, they would most indeed keep yer head above water.
Neccesity, as we all know Elson is the mother of invention and you jist might be onto somethin there.
I'll check out the Garretts, ( pre foam ad ons ) and se how they size up.
