So this make the 8th Buffalo nickel that I have found.

If the Old Nickels are there, then there should be other Old Coins so I'd keep trying that spot. Who knows! Maybe you'll pop out some V-Nickels on your next hunt there. Congrats on 2 more Keepers for you Collection Treasurefiend and Good Luck and HH on your next outing.

Nice finds, your tenaciousness paid off.

2 ahead of me this month. I'm too lazy for those nickel hits....and I'm not ashamed to say it:detecting: I got MUCH respect for you fellers who have the patience to dig 'em.

Any time you get a Buffalo with a date it's a good day and yours is no exception and looks pretty decent from my view. A 1946 nickel is pretty decent also as it is 62 years old. Looks as if you had a good outing. Nice finds and a pretty good tally on your 2008 finds so far.
Congrats and HH next outing, John

I always dig the nickel tones.I have found coin spills and gold on those tones.Sure pull tabs and foil but I just can't resist.HH.GR
