But it was so WET that it sorta took
the fun out of it ..diggin in water stinks...

And to think i was praying for the snow to melt
only a week or so ago .

Now we have a flood watch all weekend ..
Then comes summer with hard ground ...

Why DO i put up with it????????????

Hay Old Ranger:
It rained on me this last Thursday as well. Got luck though and it
just stopped and let e get in about three and half hours. Went back to that old
house I told you all about, built in the 1860's. It was a bust though.
Found a few wheat cents and a 1957 silver quarter. The place was full of trash.

It was a cold, drizzley day yesterday and me and a detectoring buddy got out for a few hours. Hit an old ghost town site. He got a 1909 wheatie and I got a few newer coins and a foot long section of narrow gauge railroad rail. Might donate that to the local historical society or a local model RR club that specializes in the Michigan Central RR.
