Now what should I do

Well seems I am out of luck for the time being. My new Golden is not on its way as it has already been stated they are not available. So since I had sent a machine in for trade, I might be adding to my trade in and get a Tiger Shark. Is that a wise decision for the inland lakes in Nw Ohio, Indiana and Michigan? I was really looking for the fun factor of the Golden but I have done a little water hunting this fall and really enjoyed it. As a single tone machine does it still have different sounds for some objects? Like on my MXT it was a single tone but on good targets you would get a much fuller sound. So should I wait or should I go with the TS?
Shortcut

I have heard alot of good talk on the tiger shark. It gives some kind of tones. If you like to hunt freshwater this is the detector to do it with.Others on here hunt with it on land.Talk of how good it is in the iron. The tiger is a first class fresh water machine.I would not count on it in the wet salt sand.I want the sandshark myself for the beaches here.Good luck. B-)

I'd wait just a little to be sure...its fixing to start icing up the lakes here anyway...try to get what you wanted in the first place...there should be some news about delivery after the 1st. I dont know how a single tone would work in these waters...its mighty trashy up here in the fresh.
Mud

Google Tesoro TigerShark and click on videos, there's plenty of YouTube as well as the Sand Shark.
TigerShark is probably the best freshwater detector when it comes to looking for smaller gold rings, jewelry and really finds small silver stuff as well.
Average depth capabilities. From my experience performance better than the DP and 1280x. If I were to get a freshwater water machine and could not
afford a CZ21 or Excalibur, TigerShark is the way to go.

The Tiger Shark is a good fresh water detector, not quite as deep as the Cibola. Unique sounding signal, sounds like a "quack", control box can be shaft mounted three different ways or hip mounted, well balanced and solid construction.I used to use it for land hunting on rainy days as well, no worry about the control box.
