Since I dont have one yet..Can anyone tell me about where nuggets are gonna plot?I know it depends on size and composition.

Nobody knows evidently,,heh heh I can go to th creeks and get my answer,,thanks all in fun cs..envious about them old parks up north,,however its warm here

Try it tommorrow with the 10 1/2" and 5" and post the results here. It's the only nugget I have left but it is about the average size I used to find. Talk to ya tommorow

Dont go to a lot of trouble changing coils.Just wondered where they hit on screen in -artsmind..Thanks ahead of time..cs

You can either borrow it for testing or bring the nugget...
Good hunting... Guvner..

Okay with the 0.6 gram flat gold nugget 1/4" diam. Aprox. 22ct with hints of copper. Ironmask at -8, Sens. manual at 26, Gain maxed at 10.
10.5" coil it hit along the very bottom of screen to where only half the cursor showed, and centered directly above the left edge of the pinpoint graphic. Was able to get a clean signal air test at 3.5" to 4". Laying on the ground surface over a clean? area the cursor jumped side to side a little but held mainly in the same spot as air test.
5" sunray coil it hit along the bottom of screen again but centered above the center of the pinpoint graphic, slightly to the right of where the 10.5" landed. Got a clean signal air test at 3" to 3.5". again on ground the cursor jumped side to side a little but not as much as the 10.5".
I would think that the cursor would stay centered roughly over the pinpoint graphic, but climb straight up as the nugget got larger.
Depth estimates ?????:
0.5 - 1.0 gram / 3" - 4"
1/4 oz. / 5" - 6"
1/2 oz. / 7" - 8"
1 oz / 10" - 12"
But lets here from the 1 oz. coiltek nugget winners.
Hope this helps you guys out.
