Been working the beach and surf with the F70...I'm keeping it in totlot mode, 53 sens, 1 disc, -3 thresh 11" dd amazingly banging deep targets and small foil, bobby pins, etc. wading up to my shorts, working the high sand and towel line, putting in quite a hike. Finds are very slim except for Tuesday (90 coins and a ring (junk) off a secluded beach nobody got to yet) the main beaches are getting really hunted hard. Its been in the high 50's early in the morning, and its a great way to wake up with the World!
Anyway, either some thrice married lady spilled her purse, or 3 brass monkeys got gelded, I dont know what the deal is with these, any ideas what they were doing up in the high sand dunes a mile from the nearest parking lot?....

Well Mud, you sure do put the word metal in metal detecting. :clapping: You found the woman with more than the kitchen sink in her purse. There is bound to be gold somewhere around there. Great detecting Mud ......Z

Throw em in your garage mud,you may need them some day!! Keep hunting things will change,I havnt fond much lately myself, nothing worth mentioning.....hh rick in mi.

NUTS! Shoot, they will beat a 6" deep Memorial cent any day. Not to complain, but it took me 5 + minutes to dig the sucker in our concrete for ground. It is about over in our neck of the woods until we get some moisture. 14" below norm thus far for the year. Nice hunting Mud. HH jim tn

looks like you went nuts, the beaches here have been slim pickens also hoping it will get better after the fourth of july crowds hh

Yeah Zeek, thats what I keep telling myself..."theres gotta be some gold around here somewhere" and its certainly not here in the house!
Rick, I figure brass nuts will make some good gifts to give to my nephews when they get married. Jim, you should have extended your northern trip for a few months, or head to Fl and sweep up the beaches after that storm!. EZ, good to see you again old pal! I will say this about the lack of drops on the beach, I have not found ONE cigarette lighter, only one cell phone, one driver license, one set of keys, NO dollar coins, or paper money...very few crown caps, tabs and the like, hardly any towels left behind even...I sure am hoping it will get stuffed over the 4th...very unusually clean, wondering if it is a sign of the times..well, its 5 am...time to go..:detecting:
