I'll be in O.C.Md for the Thanksgiving vacation week. Wnated to do a little detecting at the beach, but I have heard the beaches in Ocean city Md and the beaches in Delaware have benn replenished already. Don't feel like digging into 6' of sand. Anyone know if this is true about the replenishment. Thanks.

Appears the Maryland beach is being done now.

And the Delaware beach was done two years ago.

Hey there Hunter12, I do know there was heavy equipment on coin beach (Indian River inlet) pushing sand around about 3 weeks ago. I hunted on the south side of the inlet and found little. It was or seemed pretty sanded in. Good luck with you hunt and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Yeah, I hunted coin beach last year after they sanded it in, probably 4' or more of sand. Nothing found. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

I did hit a beach in New Jersey a few years ago that the contractor failed to screen probably due to excessive gravel ranging from marble to golf ball size..anyway they sucked in world war 1 era debri from an apparent off shore military dump..I got a few cool buttons and whole lotta whatnot.. I’ve often wanted to find out where they dump all debris that they filter out..
