O.K. my digital camera just took it's last picture and now I need advice for a newer one :please:

I think it is still the widest distance between settings in the world--1 lens did most everything--I bought the new camera but had to wait on the Lens !---If you ever want a Great camera get a Nikon D-90 with that lens as you can go any where and use only (1) Lens !
