Here is a little post from the frozen north. The ground is just starting to thaw with some places 2 inches before frost and others 4 to 6 before frost .I have been limited to tidal flats and even that didn't become available until last week unless I was to ice repel down to them.Got out yesterday with The Indian and recovered this large cent and as always I think of Rob and Larry with these. The old wharf systems don't have many of those 83 bottle caps more 83 large cents!!! This old girl came just as she looks.(No further cleaning needed) The sands are really hard on the old coppers. The v handles the iron infestation real well. Rob your advice to manually GB often makes a world of difference. Your doing a great job writing a "book" on all the V's. The last pic is this years goodies so far ! I'll try to be more of a poster rather than a lurker but...........Take care all and keep that coil in the ground......Goldbill

Good to hear from you. Glad to see you and the Chief a still detecting together. I had a great time when you came to our seminar. Always like to see you finds. :wiggle:
