Oddball Ring found at 115 year old homesite.

Found this odd ring on old homesite. It appears to be hand carved out of LEAD. Anyone ever see anything like this. First for me. Any comments appreciated. HH. Dave.

I find these made of brass at a boys prison that dates back to 1895

I found these artifacts near the Susquehanna River in N.E. Penna. Fortunately for me, the flint point was in line with the signal I was receiving from the brass oar lock. They were fairly close together. The rusted piece is made of some kind of iron and appears to be some type of scraper or blade. You can see the sharp edge in the one photo. I sure would like to know the history of both items, especially the flint spear point. Dave.

Dave that flint spear point is a beauty, a big piece too

When I was a kid we used to hunt for arrow heads, scrapers, beads, etc. as there is a long history of Indians living in the area where I grew up.

Thanks for your comment Brian. I have been searching the internet and some books, looking for a point that is shaped like the one that I posted but no luck yet. I'll keep trying. Any ideas welcomed. Dave.

Hi Dave...

Just noticed your spearpoint...its a Perkiomen Broadspear made out of jasper,I think.
If you still have it,would you be interested in selling it?I am an avid arrowhead collector.

Thanks and happy hunting,

Mark.
