Does your divers silicone grease get really thick and sticky when you smear it on?
Have an issue with some silicone O ring grease that gets really nasty. Does not smooth out easily on O ring sealed parts.
Divers silicone is reccomended by mfr, but do not know how it compares with the O ring grease I got at the hardware store.
Does divers silicone feel and act really sluggish and sticky, or is it slicker and more fluid like Vaseline??

Would appreciate some help here. This is a serious question.

The silicone divers lube I use is smooth, no clumps, get it at a dive shop only, dont trust what the hardware sells.

Thanks Norm.

It's not for scuba, but for an application that requires O rings to slide smoothly. Not happy with what I'm using.

Was wondering about the consistency and general viscosity of the stuff. What I have seems too stiff and sticky causing unpredictable sealing and resistance to motion.

Will get some from a dive supply place .
Thanx.
