Sadly, it is a case of when not if Australia will get a taste of terrorism.
We can of course thank our glorious leader for putting us in this position.
We have been down the road of discussing thew relative merits of the middle eastern war, and it is not worth going back to that again, but unfortunately the predictions of a number of contributors here have been shown to be spot on accurate.
Again sadly, these attacks will continue until we in the west change our attitude.
The war on terrorism will never be won by attacking the perpetrators.
The British experience in Ireland is a classic case. It has been going on for generations, and only a willingness to bend by both parties has seen peace of sorts. The same will need to apply in the middle east and it wont be forthcoming from our current regimes.
