Sure looked good for a moment! It is an aluminum kids ring! Oh well, maybe next time. The area I hunted get's pounded almost daily in the summer.
Only 6 coins, some sinkers, etc... Oh and Mike in Chicago, I found your bottle cap!

Yeh, that would make you take a second look on the ring, quickly, as it sure looks shiny, but fool's gold may still be fooling many with metals made to look like the real thing! Very hard to tell some precious stones, and good jewelry from the non-precious stones and metal! Better luck next time.....May God bless you with more goodies! Amen! Ma Betty

Hey glad you got out anyway. I can imagine you face when you seen the gold.

LOL... looks like the stuff that's been in my scoop :) I dug this HUGE gold earring last week (except the only thing "gold" was the color :) ) Oh, BTW, I got my CZ-21 replacement 2 weeks ago and I've been hitting the beach whenever I can. I LOVE it! Very stable and goes very deep (now that I have the 10.5" coil) I have a good low tide tomorrow, so I'm going to go just before sunrise. Hey, maybe I'll find something I can post!

Take care,

Joe

My CZ-20 shipped out yesterday to be fixed. :(

The coil wire that goes into the main housing went bad. When you turn it on you just hear an overload signal. Yes I have the lifetime warrenty
