Oh Canada! :canadaflag:

Found this 1844 Canadian half penny on my lunch break, along with a 43 merc and some pull tabs... I'm in Michigan, but I will take this kind of Canadian currency all day! :bouncy: The race car, shotgun shell, and what I think is part of an old pipe was from a prior short hunt.

Settings on the F75 on both hunts were 99 sens., 4 tones, bp mode, with the 5"dd coil.... Good huntin'

Super finds in some old dirt there! :surprised: What bit you on your thumb? A hammer?

That's one neat coin and the toy car is cool to. I have a large mason jar full of shells and bullets lol ..what part of the water winter wonderland are u sporting? .hh rick in mi.

Lol, hey mud.... the 'hammered' thumb was from a recent motorcycle crash. Got a pretty good bruise on my right thigh, too...... Oh well, getting close to the end of season anyways. I'll have the winter to repair the bike. This is the first year I've actually done a little research in dirt huntin' rather than just assume a place is old, so far I seem to be hitting decent spots. It just sucks as my pictures aren't clear at all. I'll be picking up a decent camera soon and will have to repost some of these coin pics. The recent 1867 IH I found is near mint with that beautiful green patina.....

Rick... I live in West Michigan near Grand Rapids. Most of my finds are rural, but these are from an area where I work in Kalamazoo. Funny about those tootsie toy style cars, every one that I have found so far have all the wheels intact. They must have been pretty solid to not rust away. If the weather cooperates, I plan another lunch break hunt today!

good huntin'

Hmmm..I'm over by MKG...If either of you fellows ever get up this way, lets do a hunt of some sort...your pick, high sand dunes, parks, bus stops, vacant houses...or maybe them all!
