You just never know! I just dug my first 2 center in 3 years, in the same lakeside park that I dug a slq Monday. Wow what a rush , one of those "should I dig it?" I think this one was about 3" deep near an old foundation. In trash. I dug some wheaties too, and clad that gets in the way!

that, my friend, is SWEET !

Very nice !! What is your cleaning method?

Great to find one is such nice condition. Funny thou several of them ive found looks like they were dropped yesterday. They clean up better than most.... as long as you dont clean the GREEN off them. That green makes those coins .... priceless to find.

Thanks for the replies all. I just rinsed the coin to remove the dirt, then a light-swabbing with q-tip wet in peroxide.

[size=large]I DIDN'T SEE THE NAME OF THE PARK OR AN ADDRESS OR ANYTHING ABOUT HOW TO GET THERE. DON'T YOU WANT HELP FINDING THE REST? :wiggle: THAT IS A VERY NICELY DETAILED COIN. THEY HAD SOME REAL ARTISTS IN THEM DAYS. THANKS FOR THE SHOWING.
NOW ABOUT THAT LOCATION AGAIN? :chase:
