I had the itch to water hunt real bad today. It was supposed to be HOT out, which is good, as 4 x days ago I was scraping ice off my windshield in the morning. Well, I went and picked up a red rental vehicle to get me to the waters edge. My weapons of trash reduction were the Infinium for water and the Scorpion on land.

After about 7 hours of probing and making holes in the water, I managed to salvage these. Does the Infinium like chains? Yesiree! It gave a nice solid low-high signal. Heck, I even managed a couple of bucks to get me even closer to that 100,000 coin mark. That coaster "HAVE FAITH KEEP SMILING" was down over 24", or over 4 scoops of sand with my monster water scoop. Unbelievable. :)

Here's the ring and chain all cleaned up. There is one tiny stone in the center star. Life is good!

And I was surprised to see the Garrett Gals on the beach today. They must have played hooky from work just to cheer me on and bring me luck. :)

Man, that's a nice ring. When are you going to tell us how you really feel about that Infinium and that Scorpion?

I also gotta know, why a rental vehicle?

Chris
(449 coins from 10,000 in caledar 2008, I also trying real hard for 1000 total nickels. Might not make that one)

Well, a dump truck on a backed up freeway in front of me decided to back up and crushed the front of my car, and my insurance company just wrote it off. I was MAD...but unhurt. The driver couldn't even speak English. He was late reporting the accident to the police by 5 days, and almost received a $275.00 fine. So.....I have a vehicle rental package, and spoiled myself by renting a Chrysler NITRO for the day.

Tonite I went out and picked up my new detect-mobile, a 1996 black (Like my Scorpion) Saturn Vue.

All my other detectors are lying in the basement sulking with pure jealousy because they don't get to go out hunting with me lately

At least he reported it. Is he in Canada legally?

I hope you come out whole or at least close.

Better get some of those detectors out before the snow flies.

Chris
