After that new DD coil arrives please post your findings as to how much extra depth, if the onscreen display is still fairly accurate and if you have a 9x12 Garrett coil now, weight difference between them and how much better, if any this new coil is than it. Thank you. Will be looking forward to your finds.

I will try and see how it handles that is a good price all the ex coils i run are great coils deep separate well and hit small objects good and better audio response on targets .I have the 9x12 and that is a nice coil to.like that and sniper coils best stock coil is ok.It will be here tomorrow and iam going to try and see what it does hope it doesn't disappoint me.Was running a 15 inch coil today on another machine only snag a couple of quarters and dimes not old and only down about 4 inches don't know if there is any thing at these sites anymore.Like to try it at old sites to see what it will pull .If it works out i will post something tomorrow.See if my brother in law is around see if he will give it a spin.Tim Dude but he works a lot have to see if he home.

Well, good luck with the new coil, hope it works out well for you. I seem to have good luck with the stock coil. I had one of the sniper coils but didn't see that it was any better than the 6x9". I have only used the 9x12" coil one time. Unless the Excelerator is a big improvement i guess i will stick with the 9x12. Good luck.
