THE best fun night they ever had;they told me....I even had another church council member come up with his detector;and WE HAD A BLAST....Everybody was amazed at all my finds-The kids all got to pull a prize from the girls' or the boys' boxes;for the adults'drawings there were 2 prizes for the men(each got a silver pendant);for the women's prizes;1 got a 14KT.chain;and the other woman got a 14KT gold ring;with s blue stone in it.When I announced to the kids that the Grand Prize for the nite was that White's metal detector;they were pretty excited-The boy that won it was the middle child of 3 kids-All the kids had to guess how many m@m's were in the Mason jar.WELL-LET ME TELL YA:When that boy was announced as the winner;ya shoulda seen his smile-
EAR-TO-EAR!!!:biggrin::lol:He is only about 5 years old;and that detector was as big as he was!!!:wave:I even got a lead on a lost class ring from a fellow council member-He heard me say that I had never found a class ring;so he proceeded to tell me where he lost his 40 years ago-At a beach I have been to;but never swished;only dry swung-And where I had planned to get to eventually,to get permission to swish-WOW!!Now I can go there and tell them I would like to look for a ring a friend of mine lost there in the water-I wont be fibbing;either-Dont need to tell them he lost it 40 years ago;either....ANYWAY:We all had a good time-We found and recovered a few modern coins in the church yard;and had some good fellowship time together....
 
hope you can find the guy's class ring and get to keep everything else ya find there.
 
We sure missed you and hope that we can get together later this year! Congrats on a great meeting at church! :)
 
..he told me that he lost it there in 1950!!!...My wife said somebody else might have already found it;ya know...I said true-But;Im gonna go ask for permission to look;anyway...I assured this gentleman that if I found it;I WILL return it to him-He said "THAT WOULD BE GREAT!"...:thumbup::fisher::detecting:
