I went to the bottle forum,no response.........SO:Last week,I met some new friends down in Taylor, the man works for an underground utility co.they uncovered a HUGE bottle dump somewhere down Detroit way,HUNDREDS of old bottles-cork top, some with original contents still in them, old cork top apothecary bottles, wine, beer, whiskey bottles-ALL IN GOOD SHAPE!!!-HEAVEN...Some of the ones that stick out in my mind are the paper-top MILK bottles, here are a couple of I think RARE ones: 1-1pint "BELLE ISLE MILK AND ICE CREAM",below "Belle isle",a shield that has in it"FAMOUS JERSEY", Detroit,Mi.-all embossed into the bottle,on the bottom"BI"......1-1qt."Rebel's Creamery,River Rouge",on the bottom,a capital "R"......this guy just picked up DOZENS of these bottles, all in A-! shape..........Mike-ANY idea how rare some of these might be?HOW can I find out??I told them I would let them know,IT IS JUST UN-believable how many bottles he has,and the condition of them......Steve.

Wow! To find a bottle dump with bottles in such fine condition is great! I don't know much about bottles.....but hope someone can help you! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

but the milks sounds like 30's to the 50's bottles. Corks would be older yet.
