Here in Houghton Lake we get lots of people coming up camping....and not only do they bring detectors up with them...there are many of them adding to the pull tab problem here.

I am guessing you are doing nothing wrong. You just need more research to find some places others haven't hit yet.

crank the disc up and dig only coins? Campgrounds are trashy. It is ok to be picky in spots like that.

Check areas where the kids play, and definitly near the water and swimimng areas. These areas you will want to dig everything so as not to miss gold!

i have read about the ace 250 its a great machine.i think you just need to go to the right spots.maybe try in the woods thats one of the best places, and under the big trees at your parks, but make sure that they are old parks.i would do some research on where you live and whats close by that has some history to it, and i would bet your luck will change for the better.good luck and happy hunting, and merry christmas. ben.

I'M going to Alabama this coming week a friend of mine told me about a old wagon train trail that runs though his place and I can follow it though the woods. this should be interesting. I guess I'll be digging every beep. Later Graw :yo:
