........Marcia and I.............We got our warmest clothes on,and went for a nice WALK,right on down to Lake Michigan,only about 1/2 a mile..........Down the paved road,past the Old Channel Inn(A trading post in the 1800's!!!);to the entrance to Ms. Lake Michigan,past 3 snow fences;THERE SHE IS!!!............Temp in the 20's;a nice probly 15 knot wind blowing in off the Lake.Seen a bald eagle,also some shore birds SWIMMING in that icy Lake
........Sun shining thru the snow clouds,a light surf.....We wanted to come down to the Lake,just to marvel at God's creations,...Even in the winter,SO much beauty!!.....Marcia and I said a prayer of thanks to the Creator,for all this beauty,and to thank Him,for the 1st day of our 1st year together,2013..........Last night,there was a great New Year's Eve party at Marcia's Church:lots of great food,pop and coffee.......GAMES
ool,ping-pong;...UNO,dice games......The last 10 seconds,we all did thecountdown,as we watched the ball drop in Time's Square-Wasn't the same,without Dick Clark. hopefully,he had a front and center seat,from the OTHER side
