ok heres an eye spy find kinda

was at the local 2nd hand store checking through thier jewelry when i found this little beauty sitting amoungst a ton of, well, not so good costume jewelry. It was the only piece marked and is .925 Italy. I think it is a babys braclet or a small anklet either way the price was right.

I know some people who regularly go to these places and have luck. When I used to teach silversmithiong I would stop in the thrift shops frequently and get silver ware for the kids to use in their castings. Not at all unusual, Steve in so az
 
Congrats, dobbie, on finding silver no matter where you find it and buying it for a small price! It is probably an ankle bracelet that teenagers like to wear. Tami had a few in her teen years! :thumbup: :)

Garage, yard and church sales are good for that too! One lady in FL bought a little stack of small boxes at a church sale and inside of one, was a diamond necklace worth $5,000. Now, I would say that is a good find for sure! :biggrin: God Bless! Betty
