I am now the proud owner of a Minelab Excalibur II. I will upload some photos here shortly. By the way??? With the neww battery do I have to let this thing charge for a full 9 hourse the first time? Or can I go out right now and use it....Im chomping at the bit but I dont want to mess up my battery either.

like bruce said.............u got a scoop.................u are getting ready to dig some deep big holes - no skimpy scoop will hole up very long

No Scoop...but a friend of mines dad is a metal fabricator and welder. We're gonna see if he will make me one. LOL after the MD im broke as a joke, so I guess ill be hunting with a garden viariety shovel for a few days....IM not proud I will follow your words of wisdom Bruce, it's important to leave things cleaner and safer than we found them. It would be nice if everyone felt that way.

I did it too,Tax refund,= New Excalibur II !!!!! But mine hasn't arrived yet. I bought mine from findmall sponsor,you get a Lighting Rod with it. Happy Hunting!

No Curb...I didnt buy a lightning rod. I thought I would get used to my machine and then try to fabricate my own from aluminum tubing. I like a little project that keeps me thinking.
