I live in an area rich with history and found this in a field along a major river... along with many other great finds... what is it <img src="/metal/html/shrug.gif" border=0 width=37 height=15 alt=":shrug">... about the sie of a US quarter... edge is the same all the way around..(rounded) appears to be made from lead and just over 1/8" thick... can also weigh it too <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="">... thanx for any and all help Bri(upstateNY)

... That's curious, Brian. Looks like it was going to be divided into 4 pieces, maybe for musket balls?
