convinced concerning the barely audible to silent threshold setting on the Excal. 2 gold rings in 2 days, one in dry/wet sand and the other shoulder-deep water. My finds have measurably increased using this setting compared to early this year and last year, which is impressive because the conditions are worse and the crowds are down. I had my doubts early on, but no more. Thanks again to Gulf Hunter.
