OK...Too Cold, Too Much Flooding & Too Much Snow. What Do You Guys Do To Fill In Time?

Lots of people have many hobbies or just like to chill out with a good book or movie. Anyone care to share how you spend your time cooped up at home?
I went out and bought 17 LBS of pork (beef is just too expensive) and made a huge batch of jerky to share with friends and family as gifts.

It's kind of funny. I live in Colorado and the high 2 days ago here was 81 degrees. Right now it is 75. We have dropped below freezing at night but have had only a day or two that the high was in the 30's. Kind of strange but I'm taking advantage detecting almost every day!

That's what I do and canning.
Finishing up another 35lbs of garlic.
This time honey garlic fermented.

Never gonna do individual quarts again.
Toooo messy burping each jar.
Gonna do gallons next time with fermentation vent coks.
Then after finished.
Transfer to smaller jars and seal.

Love to go hunting and ice fishing.
No body to take me out.
Though I took the boys hunting when they was young.
It just never clicked with them.

To cold to fly my bird's.

And my normal winter passion of sky observing and moon bonding.
Love to get a look at those interstellar objects buzzing thru.
I just can't carry my gear anymore.
Grayson's finally showing a little interest.
If I can get him away from games.
17's a tough age today.

So now it's reading, researching and watching old sentimental movies and reruns.

Man......good for you. Garlic is supposed to have many health benefits too. Great lookout on life! Sometimes we need to make adjustments in life as our brain can't keep up with our bodies.

I'm a crane operator out of Asheville NC, still a lot of rebuilding after the storm, we also have 5 cranes and 3 operators, so doing the math, we are a wee bit short handed.
