Okay one more try. What is the difference in Sterling Silver and Silver? What do you use to clean it up?

If you're asking about sterling versus coin silver, sterling silver is .925 percent pure silver with the rest usually being copper. Sterling silver will be marked either sterling or .925. Coin silver varied from .835 to .925 until the .900, or 90 percent, standard was adopted sometime in the early to middle 1800's. If I have a nice silver coin or sterling jewelry item that needs cleaning I use electrolysis, if it's a common coin or ratty piece of jewelry I make a paste from baking soda and water and rub them with it.
