OKey I guess your stuck with me. Question, 15" Wot or 14" Excelerator?

<center> plowed or low
its picks up small stuff great and has a lot of coverage
One down side is being in a plowed field if its deep plowed is the coil is big and harder to maneuver, but its doable :)

Its nice to really start out looking for hot spots in a field because you can cover acres fairly fast
Its a coil that has its' time and place like the joey coil
Never tried the other coil tho

Bob, I have a 14 inch excelerater coil. I have had it since they first came out. It is one fantastic coil. It has incredable depth, is very stable and sensetive to small objects deep or shallow. It seems to pick up nickles like crazy. Before I got the 14" I almost never got nickles but it really does the job I am pleased with the performance and I continue to use it after what must be 3 1/2 years.

Both are very sensitive, hunt deeper than most are willing to dig and both are built well. One just cost a little more money and covers more ground per swing. Duh, but you know that ;)
I think the 14 is easier to handle and balances out better. I use a shoulder strap on the WOT if I'm hunting all day where I don't the EXcellerator 14, but it's no cake walk either, big coils are just heavy !
Mike

Another option is the 12.5" Excelerator. I have one and it's great...only slightly heavier than stock, pinpoints great, nice increase in coverage. It's about as big a coil as I want to run.
