Just found what I hope is a good, older, starter detector. A Whites Prism 5G. Was purchased by an older gentleman that fell ill and never used it. I have never used a MD. Looking forward some hunting and exploring. I live on an old lake in NE Oklahoma, in the Cherokee Nation. We are winter Texans so I hope to spend some time on South Padre Island. We also spend some time each year in the Florida panhandle. My biggest challenge is going to be figuring this thing out . Hope I don't ask too many dumb questions.

Hello Mr. Okie, do you know any of the Sullins' in that area (Council Hill, Okmulgee)? I live in Louisiana, but am from the Panhandle of Oklahoma (Tyrone). i just got into metal detecting myself, purchased a new Garrett AT Max, went to try it out yesterday & the thing doesn't work. Hoping to have a working model soon. How's your hunting going?

Thanks,
Paul Sullins
