Old and Gold!!!!!

Hit the lake very early this morning. Hunted in the swim areas but the targets were few and far between. Hit the old area last and got this
antique initial ring. Only got 9 coins, and an interesting find. One of my first targets was this possible gold nugget. I used my gold test kit and it came up good. It is also quite heavy. I will let you know what comes out on this one.

Congrats on the gold ring and if that is a gold nugget it is a good size one! God is helping you to have many blessings! God Bless! Betty

Great digs Mike ! Sure hope the nugget is real - it's unusually large. Is the area known for producing gold in the past ? steve in so az

we mostly have flour gold in some creeks. This came from a gravel bottom lake. I will let you know.

Yowzer! That is one large nugget!!! What did it weigh? (looks like it would be heavy)

Now, how did that get there if your area is not know for gold? Hey, maybe it's time to start panning :)

Congrats on the old ring, looks sharp. Sure looks like a gold nugget to me. Congrats on the finds and getting out and doing some wet detecting.
