Old coin thoughts

Just thinking now that i have some old coins . I get a kick out of showing them and even older folk
never knew thy existed. That includes me before i got into this hobby. :twodetecting:

I started collecting coins in my teens, (many decades ago) but seldom gave much thought to era types earlier then I H cents, V nickels, and the like era coinage. Locating older coins back in 1972 is what prompted me to get my first detector and as time went along I became interested in the older varieties. When I show or talk about some of the older varieties of coins I have found people my age and younger that aren't associated with the hobby or coin collecting are often amazed at the types of coins that existed. And there are some really nest foreign ones as well. HH jim tn
