Old Eagle Ring --ID Help

Looks like an old sterling class ring minus the stone-(stamped sterling) but the eagle makes me think that maybe it is an old BSA ring. No BSA logo though. Looks old!

Anyone want to venture a guess on age or identity.

Got this today from the same park in Louisville. This by far was the neatest find of the day. Also got another QTR and two more rosies.

Looks like the sort of result you'd expect from a ring buried in road gravel...

WWII era dimestore type ring. I swear, it seems someone finds one every 6 months or so. I think they weren't well cast/made in the first place so they look older than they are. One guy swore up and down that his *must* be Civil War. Still a nice chunk of silver.
