I asked the owners of an old farm house to detect their yard yesterday. Older lady answered the door and I gave her my pitch. She immediately started telling me about a ring she lost about 5 years ago. I looked and looked for it but couldn't find it. She did give me permission to hunt the yard. The place was homesteaded in 1883. Thats pretty old for South Dakota. Didn't have the luck that I thought I would. Only two wheats 55D, 45D and a 42D Silver Nickel. I have permission to go back.
