went to this old farm today, it has been empty for almost a year now, I called the realtor and asked if I could detect it, he said go for it!

found a LOT of clad for a farm house, almost 3 bucks worth, including a 1971 Kennedy half, those are always fun to dig up.

I have seen more and more nice ones this year! :) Congrats!

Hey Terry. That is one nice looking Indian for coming out of the ground. That has to be an extra fine at the least. I think you need to change your forum name to Goes4Indians. What did you use to get it that clean. Nice finds.

normally on indians I ONLY use warm water, a drop of dishwashing soap and a soft toothbrush to scrub it. Wheats always get caked up and I have to use peroxide, but something about indians seems like the dirt does not stick to them as much, so normally just soap/water

You would think the Indys and the wheats would clean the same. They have the same composition of bronze and tin and zinc. I like your cleaning methods as they don't seem to take away from the appearance of the coin.

I NEVER ever put indians in peroxide because that will take away the patina and to me that is beautiful and I would not want to lose that
