Old finds - New Detector

Thanks for the welcome.

After being off for about 10 years, I'm trying to get back in the groove :detecting:. But with what feels like a weak mainspring, kinda hard to do.

Most of my old finds were before digital cameras and scanners to upload with, But a few I remember are:

4 or 5 quart jars of nothing special coins. (Good dates I either kept, gave away, or sold.)
$2000 14k white gold diamond ring. (Returned to owner no charge - that resulted in offer of 3 other VERY GOOD places to hunt - good pay, eh?)
$800 10k yellow gold ring w/ruby jewel and masonic emblem (kept) (Fit perfectly, but not a Mason - Oh well,)
CSA Oval Brass Belt Buckle (in Ohio no less - must have been brought back as a souvenir after the Civil War) (Kept until stolen)
The best finds were the people also swingin' detectors. Friends are worth more than material things!

Thanks, R "Gene" Lyons
