The glass bottle bottom is actually green and has bubbles. There is a ring mark on bottom that looks tooled. Interested if someone can date or can enlighten with any other information. Thanks!

Looks like the bottom of a black glass wine bottle. If it has a pontil scar on bottom I would say 1860 and before.
 
Thanks speedbug, pontil scar was just the lead I needed! Definitely19th century, possibly older.

Off to find an unbroken one!
