Old Heathkit Detector (Early 80's) / Radio Shack 2200

I have an old Heathkit MD that my Dad built around '82 in Mint condition. Can anybody think of something I might be able to do with this thing? It's an interesting piece of equipment, nonetheless.

I also dug my Radio Shack 2200 out of the closet which I used to use as a backup. Are there any known mods for this detector?

Thanks all - MD

Some people collect the old machines and also Heathkits. A minty unit would do alright on ebay, I'd think. Performance-wsie, i hae not heard much on the positive side.

The RS 2200 is an ID machine, correct? As such, it's fairly new for BH, and aside from adding coils, not much can be done. Common though they be, I've seen no mods for any BH machine.
