Absolutely amazing hour of metal detecting. Was out shooting some guns and decided to bust out my metal detectors before I left. Found a brass reed from a harmonica, an old buckle, a .32 short revolver shell case, an 1895 Indian Head penny, and a Scovill Waterbury general service Eagle button from the Civil War. My family has owned the property for 18 years and I knew there had to be a house there at one point in time based off of some bricks I've found and some flowers that were planted. Now I have an accurate gauge of how old the place is and I'm going back when I have more time.

way to go, that is some genuine history there. I love finding one IH penny over a pile of clad anytime. They are little works of art. Keep us posted on your future visits there, Good Hunts, CO
