Nothing spectacular but was impressed with the depth on the umbrella piece. Well over a foot deep and gave a good signal. The rest were at 4 to 8 inches. Thanks for looking.

Good to know that it will go deep. I've thought about buying one for my Omega will have to keep an eye out for your posts with it. Hope you get to find some nice coins there soon.

Great hunt , you'll never know what you find !!

I've been thinking about getting a NEL Hunter Coil. You didn't say, what detector that you were using with the coil.

are the settings you were using on that search? How low was the Discrimination?

Is there a typical Disc. setting you usually use?

How about the use of a 1 or 1+ TONE audio Vs 2+ Tone ID, or any multi-tone option?

Were the targets shown in the photo located in a somewhat scattered manner, or were they close to, and mixed in with, iron or ???

Inquiring minds like to know what the settings used were as that's just as important, or more so, than the make/model and search coil used.

Thanks, and I know others might wonder the same things but just not ask.

All the targets were scattered about. I normally hunt in all metal, 90-95 sens. in bp. This site is loaded with iron so I had the disc. at 40, 85 sens. in bp. The targets had no iron mixed in, but the brooch looking piece had iron all around it. I haven't used the other tones as I really like the boost process.
