Old for sure, maybe someday I’ll stumble onto a definitive button from that war. Thanks Confetrit.Very nice Save of the button. This could possibly be a War of 1812 button. This is in very nice shape. Congrat's

Yes sir, no problem. If someone here happens to have the military button book, you could pin this down pretty quick. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of this book. Maybe someone will chime in who is more familiar with War of 1812 buttons and be able to help you out. Best of luck.Old for sure, maybe someday I’ll stumble onto a definitive button from that war. In Albert’s it is 70A, late 1820 to early 1839 made out of brass. I have dug several pewter ones that have just US on them and they are 1808-1830. Potentially they could have been 1812ers. Thankful to find what pre WW1 military buttons I have thus far. I appreciate your comments sir.Yes sir, no problem.
