Old park gives up V-nickel, silver, wheats, Waterbury button

Today I went to an old park and hunted about 2.5 hours, I totally ignored the numbers on the screen and only hunted by sound, if it had some depth to it, and sounded smooth I dug it.
I got surprised several times. The V nickels bounced all over, I made a mental note of the numbers but did not let them persuade me to dig or not. It bounced all over from single digit numbers up into the 30's

The merc dime shocked me too, it even bounced around a bit, I thought it was going to be a wheat, good surprise to see the silver rim peeking out of the dirt.

All in all it was a good day, 7 wheats, (1 from yesterday) V nickel, Merc dime, about a buck in clad.........and the eagle button, no idea about this one? Says Waterbury button co. on the back.

Dude you are amazing. Just out of curiosity how much time are you able to spend each week hunting, and what part of the country are you in.
Inspirational, even my wife looked over my shoulder at what you found during your curb hunt and was impressed. She thinks this whole thing is a bit nerdy... Oh well!
